آیت الکرسی (Ayat-ul-Kursi)
آیت الکرسی قرآن کی سب سے عظیم آیت ہے۔ اس میں اللہ تعالیٰ کی قدرت، علم، اور حکومت کا بیان ہے۔ یہ آیت انسان کو شیطان، برے اثرات، اور خوف سے محفوظ رکھنے کا ذریعہ ہے۔

📖 عربی متن:
اللّٰهُ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ الۡحَـىُّ الۡقَيُّوۡمُ ۚ لَا تَاۡخُذُهٗ سِنَةٌ وَّلَا نَوۡمٌ ؕ لَهٗ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِى الۡاَرۡضِؕ مَنۡ ذَا الَّذِىۡ يَشۡفَعُ عِنۡدَهٗۤ اِلَّا بِاِذۡنِهٖؕ يَعۡلَمُ مَا بَيۡنَ اَيۡدِيۡهِمۡ وَمَا خَلۡفَهُمۡ ۚ وَلَا يُحِيۡطُوۡنَ بِشَىۡءٍ مِّنۡ عِلۡمِهٖۤ اِلَّا بِمَا شَآءَ ۚ وَسِعَ كُرۡسِيُّهُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضَ وَلَا يَـُٔوۡدُهٗ حِفۡظُهُمَا ۚ وَهُوَ الۡعَلِىُّ الۡعَظِيۡمُ
📖 ترجمہ (اردو):
"اللہ! اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں، وہی زندہ جاوید اور سب کا قائم رکھنے والا ہے۔ اسے نہ اونگھ آتی ہے اور نہ نیند۔ اسی کا ہے جو کچھ آسمانوں میں ہے اور جو کچھ زمین میں ہے۔ کون ہے جو اس کی اجازت کے بغیر اس کے حضور سفارش کر سکے؟ وہ جانتا ہے جو ان کے سامنے ہے اور جو ان کے پیچھے ہے، اور وہ اس کے علم میں سے کسی چیز کا احاطہ نہیں کر سکتے مگر جتنا وہ چاہے۔ اس کی کرسی آسمانوں اور زمین پر پھیلی ہوئی ہے اور ان دونوں کی حفاظت اس پر گراں نہیں، اور وہی سب سے بلند، سب سے عظیم ہے۔"
📖 English Translation:
"Allah! There is no god except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all. Neither slumber nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Who is there that can intercede with Him except by His permission? He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they cannot grasp anything of His knowledge except what He wills. His Throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and their preservation does not tire Him. And He is the Most High, the Most Great."
🔍 Explanation of Ayat-ul-Kursi
1️⃣ Allah’s Oneness and Absolute Authority
The verse begins by affirming Tawheed (the Oneness of Allah):
- "Allah! There is no deity except Him" – This confirms that only Allah is worthy of worship.
- He is the Ever-Living (Al-Hayy) – He was always there, and He will always be there.
- He is the Sustainer of all existence (Al-Qayyum) – Everything depends on Him, but He depends on nothing.
2️⃣ Allah Does Not Get Tired or Sleep
- "Neither drowsiness overtakes Him nor sleep" – This means that Allah is always aware, active, and in control. Unlike humans, He never gets tired or needs rest.
- This shows Allah’s absolute power and that He continuously manages the universe without any weakness.
3️⃣ Allah Owns Everything in the Universe
- "To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth."
- Everything in existence belongs to Allah, including humans, animals, planets, stars, and angels.
- No one can claim ownership over anything without Allah’s permission.
4️⃣ No One Can Intercede Without Allah’s Permission
- "Who is it that can intercede with Him except by His permission?"
- This means that no angel, prophet, or human can intercede (speak on behalf of someone else) unless Allah allows it.
- On the Day of Judgment, even Prophet Muhammad ﷺ will only be able to intercede with Allah’s permission.
5️⃣ Allah’s Knowledge is Infinite
- "He knows what is before them and what is behind them."
- Allah has complete knowledge of the past, present, and future. Nothing is hidden from Him.
- "They encompass nothing of His knowledge except for what He wills." – Humans and angels only know what Allah allows them to know.
6️⃣ The Kursi (Throne) of Allah
- "His Kursi extends over the heavens and the earth."
- The Kursi (Throne of Allah) is so vast that it covers the entire universe.
- According to some interpretations, the Kursi is separate from the Arsh (Allah’s Supreme Throne), and it represents Allah’s control over the universe.
7️⃣ Allah is Never Tired of Protecting the Universe
- "Their preservation tires Him not."
- Unlike human rulers who get tired, Allah controls everything effortlessly.
- He does not need help from anyone to run the universe.
8️⃣ Allah is the Most High, the Most Great
- "And He is the Most High (Al-‘Aliyy), the Most Great (Al-‘Azim)."
- Al-‘Aliyy means Allah is the Highest in status, power, and existence.
- Al-‘Azim means Allah is the Greatest, and no one can compare to Him.
🌟 Virtues and Benefits of Ayat-ul-Kursi
✅ 1. Protection from Evil and Shaytan
- The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever recites Ayat-ul-Kursi after every obligatory prayer, nothing will prevent him from entering Paradise except death." (Nasai, Ibn Hibban)
- Reciting it before sleeping protects from Shaytan and evil throughout the night. (Bukhari)
✅ 2. The Greatest Verse in the Quran
- The Prophet ﷺ asked Ubayy bin Ka‘b: "Do you know which is the greatest verse in the Quran?"
- Ubayy replied: "Allah and His Messenger know best."
- The Prophet ﷺ said: "It is Ayat-ul-Kursi." (Muslim)
✅ 3. Strengthens Faith (Iman) and Increases Tawakkul (Trust in Allah)
- Reciting Ayat-ul-Kursi reminds us of Allah’s greatness and helps in trusting Him fully.
✅ 4. Brings Peace and Removes Anxiety
- Reciting it calms the heart, reduces worries, and brings inner peace.
✅ 5. A Shield from Black Magic and Evil Eye
- It is a powerful protection against black magic, evil eye, and harmful spirits.

1️⃣ Allah is One and has absolute authority over everything.
2️⃣ He never sleeps or gets tired, and He alone sustains the universe.

5️⃣ His Kursi (Throne) is so vast that it covers the heavens and the earth.

Ayat-ul-Kursi is not just a verse to memorize and recite, but also to reflect upon and understand deeply. It teaches us about Allah’s greatness, His complete control over the universe, and His infinite knowledge.
🌟 آیت الکرسی کی وضاحت اور فضیلت
1. اللہ کی وحدانیت اور قدرت
-
"اللّٰهُ لَاۤ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ" (اللہ! اس کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں)
- اس کا مطلب یہ ہے کہ اللہ ہی سب کا خالق، مالک اور معبود ہے۔
- کسی نبی، ولی، فرشتہ، یا کسی اور کو عبادت کے لائق نہیں سمجھنا چاہیے۔
-
"الۡحَـىُّ الۡقَيُّوۡمُ" (وہی زندہ جاوید اور سب کا قائم رکھنے والا ہے)
- اللہ ہمیشہ زندہ ہے، اسے کبھی موت نہیں آئے گی۔
- ہر چیز اس کے حکم سے قائم ہے، وہ خود کسی کا محتاج نہیں۔
2. اللہ ہر چیز پر قدرت رکھتا ہے
-
"لَا تَاۡخُذُهٗ سِنَةٌ وَّلَا نَوۡمٌ" (اسے نہ اونگھ آتی ہے اور نہ نیند)
- انسان کمزور ہوتا ہے، سوتا ہے، آرام کرتا ہے، مگر اللہ کو نیند کی ضرورت نہیں۔
- اللہ ہمیشہ بیدار ہے اور ہر چیز پر نظر رکھتا ہے۔

"لَهٗ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِى الۡاَرۡضِ" (اسی کا ہے جو کچھ آسمانوں میں ہے اور جو کچھ زمین میں ہے)
- اللہ ہی پوری کائنات کا مالک ہے، سب کچھ اسی کے قبضے میں ہے۔
3. اللہ کا علم اور اختیار
-
"مَنۡ ذَا الَّذِىۡ يَشۡفَعُ عِنۡدَهٗۤ اِلَّا بِاِذۡنِهٖ"
- کوئی اللہ کے حضور سفارش نہیں کر سکتا، جب تک وہ خود اجازت نہ دے۔
- قیامت کے دن نبی کریم ﷺ بھی اللہ کی اجازت سے شفاعت کریں گے۔

"يَعۡلَمُ مَا بَيۡنَ اَيۡدِيۡهِمۡ وَمَا خَلۡفَهُمۡ"
- اللہ کو ماضی، حال، اور مستقبل کا پورا علم ہے۔
- کوئی چیز اس سے چھپی ہوئی نہیں ہے۔
4. اللہ کا علم اور حکومت
-
"وَلَا يُحِيۡطُوۡنَ بِشَىۡءٍ مِّنۡ عِلۡمِهٖۤ اِلَّا بِمَا شَآءَ"
- انسان جتنا بھی علم حاصل کر لے، وہ اللہ کے علم کے مقابلے میں کچھ بھی نہیں۔
- اللہ جس کو جتنا چاہے علم عطا کرتا ہے۔
-
"وَسِعَ كُرۡسِيُّهُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضَ"
- اللہ کی کرسی (تخت) اتنی وسیع ہے کہ وہ پورے آسمان اور زمین کو گھیرے ہوئے ہے۔
5. اللہ سب سے بلند اور عظیم ہے
- "وَلَا يَـُٔوۡدُهٗ حِفۡظُهُمَا ۚ وَهُوَ الۡعَلِىُّ الۡعَظِيۡمُ"
- اللہ کے لیے آسمانوں اور زمین کی حفاظت مشکل نہیں، کیونکہ وہ سب پر غالب ہے۔
- وہ سب سے بلند (علیّ) اور سب سے عظیم (عظیم) ہے۔
🌟 آیت الکرسی کی فضیلت
✅ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: "جو شخص رات کو سوتے وقت آیت الکرسی پڑھ لے، اللہ کی طرف سے ایک فرشتہ پوری رات اس کی حفاظت کرتا ہے۔" (بخاری)
✅ یہ جادو، شیطان اور برے اثرات سے حفاظت کرتی ہے۔
✅ یہ جنت میں داخلے کا ذریعہ ہے۔
✅ جو شخص ہر نماز کے بعد آیت الکرسی پڑھے، اس کے جنت میں داخلے کو موت کے علاوہ کوئی چیز نہیں روک سکتی۔ (نسائی)
