The Complete Hadith – All 9 Volumes
in a Single PDF
The Hadith ranks as the second most significant Islamic text following the Quran. Often described as "the backbone of Islamic culture," it plays a crucial role in shaping Islamic societies, ethics, and spiritual practices. Unlike the Quran, which is composed solely of revelations documented immediately after the Prophet's passing, the Hadith serves as a collection of guidelines and narratives derived from Islamic tradition. The term "Hadith" translates to "stories" or "narratives." However, this does not imply that the content is regarded with any less seriousness. A small fraction of Muslims may reject the Hadith, yet its teachings form the foundation of Islamic legal frameworks such as Sharia and Fiqh. Additionally, the Hadith is essential for the most authoritative interpretations of the Quran and is frequently referenced by nearly all Islamic sects when addressing bukh inquiries related to the Quranic verses.

From The Hadith:

Volume 5, Book 58, Number 146:
Narrated by Al-Bara:
A silk cloth was presented to the Prophet. His companions began to touch it and admire its softness. The Prophet remarked, "Are you impressed by its softness? The handkerchiefs of Sad bin Muadh (in Paradise) are far better and softer than this.
