He had at first joined the Pakistan Air Force as Airman and later connected for commission in the Pakistan Army. He himself had six youngsters, four children named Major Zafar Javed Bhatti, Dr. Zulfiquar Ahmad Bhatti, Rafique Ahmad Bhatti, and Iqbal Javed Bhatti, and two little girls named Riffat Bhatti and Zeenat Bhatti.
