يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّوْمُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيْث

ترجمہ: "اے ہمیشہ زندہ رہنے والے، اے ہر چیز کو قائم رکھنے والے، میں تیری رحمت کے ساتھ فریاد کرتا ہوں۔

Transliteration: Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum, bi-rahmatika astagheeth.

Translation: "O Ever-Living, O Self-Sustaining, I seek help through Your mercy."

Meaning and Significance:

• يَا حَيُّ (Ya Hayyu): "O Ever-Living!"

This signifies Allah's attribute of eternal life, affirming that He is the One who is perpetually alive and never ceases to exist.

• يَا قَيُّوْمُ (Ya Qayyum): "O Self-Sustaining!"

This denotes Allah's quality of sustaining and maintaining all of creation, indicating that He is the One who ensures the existence of everything.

• بِرَحْمَتِكَ (Bi-rahmatika): "Through Your mercy."

This phrase underscores our reliance on Allah's boundless mercy, which encompasses all aspects of existence.

• أَسْتَغِيْث (Astagheeth): "I seek help."

This is a sincere entreaty for Allah's aid and support.

When to Recite:

• This supplication can be recited at any moment when one is in need of Allah's assistance, mercy, or support.

Relation to Quran and Sunnah:

The names Al-Hayy and Al-Qayyum are mentioned together in the Quran in Surah Al-Baqarah (2:255), known as Ayat al-Kursi, which underscores Allah's exalted attributes.
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) encouraged the invocation of Allah using His beautiful names, as stated in the Quran:

"And to Allah belong the best names, so invoke Him by them."

(Quran 7:180)

یہ دعا ایک بہت ہی پیاری اور مؤثر دعا ہے جس میں اللہ تعالیٰ کے دو خوبصورت ناموں "یَا حَیُّ" (اے ہمیشہ زندہ رہنے والے) اور "یَا قَیُّومُ" (اے ہر چیز کو قائم رکھنے والے) کو پکارا گیا ہے۔ یہ دعا اللہ کی رحمت کے ساتھ مدد طلب کرنے کے لیے ہے۔

دعا:

يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّوْمُ بِرَحْمَتِكَ أَسْتَغِيْث

Transliteration: Ya Hayyu Ya Qayyum, bi-rahmatika astagheeth.

ترجمہ: "اے ہمیشہ زندہ رہنے والے، اے ہر چیز کو قائم رکھنے والے، میں تیری رحمت کے ساتھ فریاد کرتا ہوں۔"

معنی اور فضیلت:

• يَا حَيُّ (یَا حَیُّ): "اے ہمیشہ زندہ رہنے والے!"

یہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی صفتِ حیات (زندگی) کی طرف اشارہ ہے۔ اللہ ہمیشہ زندہ رہنے والا ہے، اسے موت نہیں۔

• يَا قَيُّوْمُ (یَا قَیُّومُ): "اے ہر چیز کو قائم رکھنے والے!"

یہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی صفتِ قیومیت کی طرف اشارہ ہے۔ اللہ ہر چیز کو سنبھالنے والا اور اسے قائم رکھنے والا ہے۔

• بِرَحْمَتِكَ (تیری رحمت کے ساتھ):

یہ اللہ کی رحمت کی طرف توجہ دلاتا ہے، جو ہر چیز کو گھیرے ہوئے ہے۔

• أَسْتَغِيْث (میں فریاد کرتا ہوں):

یہ اللہ سے مدد کی ایک عاجزانہ درخواست ہے۔

دعا پڑھنے کا وقت:

یہ دعا کسی بھی وقت پڑھی جا سکتی ہے، خاص طور پر جب آپ مشکل، پریشانی، یا مصیبت میں ہوں۔
اسے نماز میں، تہجد کے وقت، یا دعا کے دوران پڑھا جا سکتا ہے۔

یہ دعا ہر اس موقع پر پڑھی جا سکتی ہے جب آپ کو اللہ کی مدد اور رحمت کی ضرورت ہو۔

دعا کی فضیلت:

• اللہ کے ناموں کو پکارنا: اس دعا میں اللہ کے دو بہت ہی خوبصورت ناموں کو پکارا گیا ہے، جو اس کی قدرت، حیات، اور قیومیت کو ظاہر کرتے ہیں۔
• رحمت کی درخواست: اس دعا میں اللہ کی رحمت کے ساتھ مدد طلب کی گئی ہے، جو ہر مشکل میں انسان کی سب سے بڑی پناہ گاہ ہے۔
• مختصر مگر جامع: یہ دعا بہت مختصر ہے لیکن اس میں بہت گہرائی اور وسعت ہے۔

قرآن و حدیث کی روشنی میں:

اللہ کے نام "الحی" اور "القیم" قرآن مجید میں سورۃ البقرہ (2:255)، یعنی آیت الکرسی میں ایک ساتھ آئے ہیں، جو اللہ کی عظمت اور صفات کو بیان کرتی ہے۔
نبی کریم (ﷺ) نے فرمایا:

"اللہ کے اچھے ناموں میں سے ایک نام 'الحی القیوم' ہے۔"

(صحیح بخاری، صحیح مسلم)

دعا کا استعمال:

• عام زندگی میں: اس دعا کو روزمرہ کے اذکار میں شامل کریں تاکہ اللہ کی مدد اور رحمت حاصل ہو۔
• مشکل حالات میں: جب بھی آپ کو کسی مشکل یا پریشانی کا سامنا ہو، یہ دعا پڑھیں۔
• نماز میں: اس دعا کو نماز کے دوران، خاص طور پر **سجدے** میں یا نماز کے بعد پڑھیں۔
